In this role, you will secure rental equipment for our operations across WA, OR, ID & MT.
You'll also oversee the tracking and coordination of our equipment, and their systems and software.

Opportunities for Community Engagement Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Conduct region rental RFPs with OEM Dealers.
Single rental POC for the EM's.
Large rentals (dozers, loaders, excavators, rollers, etc).
Ability to open and modify purchase orders once approved by EM's.
Correct discrepancy billing from dealers.
Negotiate damage and OT charges on returned equipment.
Rental number setup.
Override rate adjustments in CMMS to achieve breakeven.
Weekly communication with NW equipment managers on progress .
Assist with equipment set up from acquisitions.
NW equipment maintenance program manager for the new equipment software.
Telematics - Manage integration of OEM equipment meters into VP from on board ECM.
Report out on KPI's utilizing telematics such as idle time, utilization, etc.
Manage oil analysis program as we continue to extend engine and component drain intervals.
Backup purchaser as needed to meet seasonal demands.
Regular and timely attendance.
Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
Other duties as assigned by management and as business needs dictate.
QualificationsMinimum Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in the following areas:
equipment management and procurement Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with external vendors and internal customers Valid drivers license Intermediate math skills Basic ability to use PC Programs & Microsoft Office Suite Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality Must pass pre-employment controlled substance screening Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required Product knowledge of heavy equipment used in the construction and aggregate industry 5
years of experience in construction and aggregate related industries Completed negotiation training Experience with purchasing programs such as Proactis, Coupa, SAP, or equivalent Proficient with excel in the creation and use of spreadsheets Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
