Memory Care Charge Nurse - LPN

Orchard Ridge Senior Living and Memory Care is searching for an LPN to be our charge nurse for our memory care residents.
This position is one of three nurses for our assisted living and memory care building.
We offer flexible hours and great pay!About the Position Dayshift, Full Time.
Flexible schedule, 8 or 10-hour shift options.
No required scheduled weekends or major holidays.
Orchard Ridge is a nonprofit, faith-based senior living with assisted living and memory care.
We are licensed for up to 69 residents, split between two floors.
The upper level is Assisted Living, housing just over half our residents.
The lower level is a secure Memory Care, housing the remainder of residents.
There is a charge nurse for each floor that is overseen by the Director of Nursing-RN.
This position is specifically for the charge nurse for our memory care unit.
A collaborative approach is taken to resident care between the three nurses and the remainder of the care team, to ensure no gaps in care occur.
Rotating on-call supervisor responsibilities between nurses.

Job Requirements:
Essential Job Functions Applies the nursing process appropriately within scope of practice.
Maintains compliance with Idaho State Board of Nursing and Residential Assisted Living Facilities regulations.
Communicates effectively and functions as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team.
Assists with initial and ongoing education to caregiving and medication technician staff.
Participates in management of staffing and department needs.
Participates in preadmission assessments in collaboration with Director of Nursing and Admissions.
Manages assigned resident needs and responds to changes in health status.
Develops behavior management plans and monitors psychotropic medication usage.
Communicates effectively with provider, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other team members as needed.
Contributes to quarterly, annual, and change of condition assessments.
Manages all physician orders for memory care unit.
Provides support to assisted living floor as needed.
Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
