We are seeking a passionate and experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a travel contract assignment in Northern Idaho.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes of Northern Idaho while utilizing your skills to assist individuals with speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities of patients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, considering the unique needs and goals of each patient.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
Provide counseling and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers regarding speech and language disorders and treatment options.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure holistic patient care and treatment.
Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports for reference and billing purposes.
Adapt to different clinical settings and effectively manage your caseload while on travel assignment.
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Idaho.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Previous experience in evaluating and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and report preparation.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical settings during travel assignments.
Flexibility and willingness to embrace new experiences and work with diverse populations.
